We took a road trip down from Johannesburg to Cape Town whilst stopping over at three places on the way to Cape Town. Jeffreys Bay was our second stop and lived up to its description of a surfer vibe. We stayed at Beach Music, and my only wish was that we stayed there longer. Beach Music had a surfer vibe to it and was situated on the beach. We had our own private patio with a hammock within the forest with a view of the ocean.
Beach Music is situated on a very private and vast stretch of beach. It was away from the bustling swimming beach filled with holiday goers.
We found an abundance of sea life amongst the rocks on the beach and couldn’t resist to touch it, take photos of it and film it.
We then woke up the following morning at 4 am to take sunrise photos and sit on the beach for a bit longer before we had to head off in the car on the way to our next stop- Hermanus. We watched the locals walk their dogs on the beach, elderly retired couples going for a stroll on the beach, and the surfers going out to surf the waves. I highly recommend waking up a few hours earlier to experience how beautiful Jeffreys Bay is at that time of the morning.
